QUICK STOCK FOR THE IMPATIENT
Here's a quick way to start a simple stock for soup or to add to your favorite dish. Place 2 Ham Hocks in the bottom of your stockpot and add 1 box (32 oz.) culinary chicken stock, and 4 cups chicken broth (boullion or canned). Pop the lid on and heat on medium, reducing heat as necesssry to keep at simmer untill the meat falls off the hocks. Season with a little ground thyme, garlic powder and seasoned pepper to taste.
