A Sharp Slice : Site Review

Asking any Chef or Cook what their most indispensable item in the kitchen is will most likely elicit an “All of them” response. Lets face it, a well utensil-ed kitchen is a pleasure to work in. But the one item they’re probably most fussy about are their knives. A sharp knife is an absolute must have and keeping it that way make food prep a joy and not a chore.

So, I was pleased when Tony, who runs a site called “The Sharp Slice” contacted me about his site  http://asharpslice.com/ to have a look at. I have to say I started drooling at all the items he has and it wasn’t limited to just knives. He pretty much nailed anything sharp used in food prep including food processors, blenders, Kitchen knives and accessories. This a very well thought out site with extensive reviews on the products he offers, and a kitchen knife guide that just won’t quit.

Speaking of the Kitchen knife guide, it’s well worth the look at the selection. The guide is well laid out and covers a lot of knives you may have asked “Well, what is that for ?”. The answers are all there and it’s well worth taking a look at it if you’re contemplating a knife purchase. And not just Kitchen knives either. Good stuff also if you are planning a fishing or camping trip.

He also go’s into great detail on other sharp cutting things such as blenders and food processors. Seriously, I would take a look at this before deciding what to buy. My favorite was the Kitchen Aid vs. Cuisinart food processor review (link here) which are both expensive items, but definite time savers in the Kitchen. So, what are you waiting for. Don’t take my word for it, Go Have a Look!
