Garam Masala Chicken Stew
A Fragrant Indian inspired dish that's easy to prepare.We added a little bit of curry and some carrots for a bit of color.

cooking oil
Instructions
Combine seasonings in a small bowl and whisk.
Heat oil in a large cast iron skillet till hot.
Brown chicken on both sides. Remove to plate.
In a cast Iron dutch oven
Heat 1 Tbsp. Oil over medium heat.
Add potatoes and cook for a few minutes.
Add peppers, onions, and spices and cook for a few minutes.
Return chicken to pot
Top with tomato sauce.
Add broth and bouillon, Yogurt, peas and carrots.
Cover and simmer till potatoes are fork tender.
Serve in a nice bowl.
Notes
As with any good stew, simmer is the rule. Keep the heat down on the Dutch Oven and let everything mingle.
