Light and a bit tangy it’s a perfect compliment to a good chefs salad. And best of all, it’s as fresh as the food being prepared. So, get in there and and fill a bowl with the salad of your choice. Or take that flank steak and make that perfect London broil. Chicken works really well with this.
 
You can use regular vegetable oil or olive oil per your tastes. Get good wine vinegar if you can, but store brands are OK also. We like the Pompeian brands for ours, but use what you can get. While you’re at it, get fresh grated Parmesan cheese make this absolutely wonderful. Moving on to the seasonings, we used dried seasonings for the particular recipe. But if you have fresh, all the better.
All in all this is not only a great dressing, but a good starter for other culinary creativity. Simplicity is the better half of eating.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Oil Vegetable, EVOO, etc
  • 0.25 cup red wine vinegar
  • 0.25 cup white wine vinegar.
  • 1/2 tsp Lawry's seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese Grated

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients in a glass bowl and whisk. Let stand at room or refrigerator till ready for use.
